Whether you’re a senior leader, ministry leader, or volunteer, the heart is the same: to see lives transformed and your church thrive in mission. You want to see lives changed, disciples made, and leaders raised up. Alpha helps you do exactly that.

Around the world, churches of every denomination and size use Alpha to help people discover faith – often finding that it also acts as a powerful catalyst to revitalise their congregation and grow their church through evangelisation. Alpha strengthens prayer, builds community, and raises up new leaders.

How does Alpha work?

Alpha is flexible and designed to fit your context.

You can run Alpha in your church building, in homes, or online. Some churches host big launch parties to build momentum, while others start small in living rooms or cafés. However you run it, everything you need to run Alpha is free! Most churches run Alpha over 8-11 weeks, built around three simple elements: connection, content and conversation.

Sally

A friend’s comment at a coffee date led Sally to question everything. Wrestling with depression and a lack of purpose, Sally took her questions to Alpha and discovered that faith and doubt can coexist.

Dr Tridiv

From his hospital bed after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, Dr. Tridiv cried out to God – and was soon declared in full remission. At Alpha, he put his faith in Jesus.

Sia, a single mum and ultra-marathon runner, had been chasing God her whole life. After attending Alpha, she realised he had been beside her the whole time.

Nick

Nick’s life was marked by grief, addiction and despair. At rock bottom, he visited a church and was encouraged to try Alpha. Nick decided to follow Jesus, and is now living in healing and wholeness.
