What is Alpha?


Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Typically run over eight to eleven weeks, each session looks at a different question around faith, and the talks are designed to create conversation in small groups afterwards. It’s totally free, it’s run all over the globe, and everyone’s welcome.




What is Alpha Australia’s ultimate goal?


We exist to equip and serve the Church in its mission to help people discover and develop a relationship with Jesus.




How many people attend Alpha in Australia?


Currently, around 500,000 have attended Alpha in Australia. We are aiming for one million people to have Alpha as part of their story by 2025.

How much does it cost?


Alpha is completely free – and there’s no follow-up if you decide not to come back.
